A collab­o­ra­tive endeavor, Produc­tion Mode draws on the strengths of the art, design, and activist commu­nity in Chicago and beyond to create singular garments and materials.

Produc­tion Mode is committed to fair trade prac­tices including trans­parency throughout our supply chain, paying living wages to the weavers, tanners, cutters and stitchers who produce our prod­ucts, and to reducing our envi­ron­mental impact. It is our goal that these values become the norm rather than the excep­tion in the fashion industry.

Our collec­tion is made to order at our Chicago studio. Making items to order allows us to mini­mize ecolog­ical and finan­cial waste, which means that we can take on designs that really push the bound­aries of what’s possible.
